The Laurel

The Laurel is a large Victorian house with a large garden that has been refurbished to a very high standard. The home has been designed and modified to suit the needs of our customer base and is accessible for people with limited mobility.

The Laurels has five large bedrooms and plenty of communal space including a separate activity room.

​

The home has high quality kitchen and bathroom fittings and makes use of assistive technology to make the lives of people easier and inclusive regardless of their abilities.

The house is located in Swindon town centre with easy access to local amenities, education centres, colleges and leisure facilities, which provide most educational and leisure activities required. Swindon can be accessed from surrounding areas via all public transport including trains and buses.

Day activities are offered as part of the care and rehabilitation based on person centred planning. Service users are encouraged to fulfil their personal potential at their own pace, they are encouraged to participate in their daily independent living skills and leisure and educational activities.

​

There are also opportunities for service users who have a keen horticulture interest as they can utilise the large garden.
